Once It Is Written

Picture?type=squarebyLyn Carr

The writer takes his pen in hand; thoughts
flowing out on every stand. For power,
wisdom, love and pain; writing it down
again and again. Mere words on paper in
black and white; nothing is wrong and
nothing is right. It doesn't matter for on
any day the writer will have the final say.
Some would gasp and some will sigh, but
once it is written and time goes by; too
late to erase the final word. Generations
on will have known and heard what the
writer thought on that day and hour. To
the ones speaking did not go the power; for
they had to read from the written page. Even
the singers that sang on the stage; sang
prose from the poets who took pen in hand
with the words that's been written in
every land. As the writer speaks for
everyone; once it is written it's said
and done.

What Will It Be?

Picture?type=squarebyLyn Carr

Do we capture the essence of soul in death?
Would a life have meaning after loss of
breath? What would you give for the love of
another? Is the sacrifice of hate worth
killing your brother? Can you see your
future in the light of a star? Will you
know if your end is near or far? In the
path of goodness are you tried for treason?
In your search for wisdom do you bypass
reason? Would tomorrow bring you your pot
of gold? Is sanctuary found in the ones you
hold? In the face of death do you see your
light? Does peace of mind mean more when
you're right? Can the heart of loneliness
make a sound? Is existing more than just
walking around? Are your thoughts as pure
as the day you were born? Is perfection a
vision that's shattered and torn? Will the
crucible in life be time that we spend?
What will it be for us all in the end?

Life's Treasures (Bobbie)

Picture?type=squarebyLyn Carr

Given this day when your work is done; may
your mind in peace give way to rest-and
while you dream of your better days to come
you'll know you've done your very best.
Only you can know your limitations and how
far that you are willing to go. Giving in
free heart without expectations; your
rewards will come and they will grow. And
all your life's treasures will be yours to
hold. Forever deserving and peaceful friend
the good in this world to you will unfold.
If whenever you feel you just want to give in;
remember the kindness you'd always portray.
Through the mirror of your reflections
within, comes to you the beauty of a brighter
day. So rest, my darling, my beloved one-
and dream of your better days to come....

Natures' Song

Picture?type=squarebyLyn Carr

In the brightly lit forest that lies below
the redwoods and floral bouquets grow.
Wandering through its moss covered floor
with mists on its leaves from the rains
before; waters are streaming from its
running spring. Off in the distance the
sparrows sing. Sunlight beams dance upon
the trees. A soft wind whispers a caressing
breeze. The pale blue sky paints the
landscape; hovering with its cloud-covered
cape. At dusk the shadows sprint about...
dancing with the moonbeams no doubt. Night
closes in while creatures rest except for
the owl, perching his nest. An awesome
tapestry all its own; the forest itself
will not stand alone. Its fertile spirit
breathes life everlong, with the rustling
sounds of natures' song.
